Terms
This page explains the baseline terms for using ReSync and related services.
The goal is clear expectations in plain language for individual users and small teams.
Effective date: 2026-02-18
Provider information
- ReSync is operated as an independent software project.
- Primary legal and account contact is available through the support page.
- Paid checkout pages must display final price and billing details before purchase confirmation.
Current status: this is a solo project and not yet operated by a registered company.
What these terms cover
- These terms apply to the ReSync app, licensing workflows, website support form, and support communication.
- Using ReSync means you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use write-enabled sync operations.
License and access
- Write access is controlled by the active license state.
- Activation and feature availability may change based on plan rules and service state.
If license requirements are not met, some features may be limited or unavailable.
Pricing, billing, and cancellation
- Any paid plan price, cycle, and tax handling are shown before order confirmation.
- Subscription plans renew by default according to the selected billing cycle unless canceled.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; access for an already paid period remains active until period end.
Current status: no paid checkout is active yet.
Consumer rights (EU/EEA)
- If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.
- For immediate digital delivery, you may be asked for explicit consent to start performance before the withdrawal period ends.
- Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law always remain unaffected.
Your responsibilities
- Use ReSync lawfully and only with content you are allowed to process.
- Review Preview output before every Apply Sync operation.
- Check destination paths and proposed changes before approving writes.
Backups and data safety
- Always keep a recoverable backup of your current Rekordbox state before running Apply Sync.
- If you run sync without backup, you accept the full risk of data loss, mismatch, and recovery work.
- No backup means user risk. The author is not responsible for loss caused by missing backups.
Service availability
- ReSync is provided as-is.
- Service behavior and features may change over time.
- Temporary service interruption can happen during maintenance, outages, or abuse protection events.
Liability limits
- To the maximum extent allowed by law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded.
- You remain responsible for operational safeguards, especially backups and staged testing.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.
